The beginner’s guide
How to play ApotheClosure
Turn a garden of magical plants into a well-balanced harvest.
ApotheClosure is a daily resource management puzzle. Arrange enclosures, grow the ingredients your recipes need, and look for ways to improve your score.

-
Give each species its own space
Place walls to make enclosures containing source plants of only one species. Those plants spread across the available soil. An area with mixed species, or no source plant, does not grow a harvest.
Stone paths already separate areas and block plant growth. Use them as part of your enclosure; they cannot be moved or removed.
-
Grow what your recipes need
Check the ingredient amounts on each recipe card. Each complete set earns a potion bonus, and more complete sets earn more bonuses. The cards show your progress and what is still needed.
Your plants are not used up by a recipe. Each recipe counts the full harvest, so the same plants can help complete different recipes.
-
Make every space count
Ordinary plants earn 1 point each, coin plants earn 2 points each, and completed potions add their recipe bonuses. Coin plants do not appear in recipes.
Try moving a wall to give a missing ingredient more space. Completing another potion may be worth more than growing extra plants you already have enough of.
-
Take on the daily puzzle
Return to the home screen and choose Daily Level. There is no target score for daily puzzles: experiment with the layout and aim for your best harvest.
If you choose to submit an online score, your first online score for that level is permanent. Take time to explore your options before submitting.

Questions before your first daily puzzle
What am I managing?
Your main resource is growing space. More space for one plant means less space for another. Compare the ingredient ratios and bonuses on your recipe cards, then divide the garden to make your harvest as valuable as possible. See a real garden and its recipe cards.
When does the daily puzzle change?
Scheduled puzzles become available at midnight in the America/Chicago time zone, which follows U.S. Central Time and daylight-saving changes. If no new puzzle is scheduled, the latest released puzzle remains featured.
Can I play earlier daily puzzles?
Yes. Earlier released puzzles remain in the daily archive. From a daily puzzle, open the game menu and choose Past daily puzzles to browse earlier daily gardens.
Will my progress be saved?
The game saves your garden layouts and personal bests in this browser on this device when browser storage is available. Return using the same browser and website address to continue. Clearing site data can remove those saves, and progress does not automatically transfer to another device.
